Welcome to Central Personnel Department

The Head of Personnel is responsible to the Council for the development and implementation of a corporate human resource strategy in support of all the authority’s departments and to provide advice and guidance on personnel matters, so that the organisation can implement its policies, strategies and objectives. 

Denbighshire County Council has a Central Personnel Department, but operates a Devolved Personnel Service throughout the authority. This means that most Directorates have their own Personnel Section. 

The Head of Personnel also has responsibility for the Occupational Health Unit and the Health and Safety Unit.
