Working in Internal Audit Services can provide both a rewarding and varied experience.
We have recently introduced career grades to develop trainees through to professional auditor level. We normally commence training with the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) qualification. Our aim, however, is to have all auditors trained to at least the Diploma level of the Institute of Internal Auditors (PIIA) and, preferably, to full membership (MIIA).
We aim to make sure that the Department and its staff meet professional audit standards on professional proficiency, performance of audit work and management of the Department.
