The Development Control team is responsible for providing advice on development proposals, deals with planning applications, represents the Council in planning appeals, monitors development and takes action against unauthorised development.  The team can be contacted on the details on the right of this page.

Local Development Plan (LDP)
The Council is now in the process of preparing the LDP.  Once approved this Plan will replace the UDP and provide the legal principal policy framework for all land use decisions requiring planning consent within the County.   

Public Access Portal
The portal provides further information about the planning system and allows you to track planning applications submitted in Denbighshire.

Unitary Development Plan (UDP)
The UDP was adopted in July 2002 and is the current adopted Development Plan for Denbighshire.
