 The service is responsible for issuing and regulating a range of Licences/permissions (links to all the licensing functions are listed on the left hand side of this page) from premises that serve alcohol, late night refreshment or have regulated entertainment, to Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Vehicles. Our experienced and committed officers are focused on providing the best possible service.

The aim of the Service is to protect and enhance the living and working environment of the people of Denbighshire through effective and efficient service delivery.

NOTIFICATION OF LICENSING OFFICE CLOSURE

Please note that from the 31st October 2008 the RUTHIN Licensing Office will no longer be accepting the following licensing applications by post/personal callers:

• Private Hire & Hackney Carriage Licences  eg Operator/Vehicle/Driver
• Premises  & Personal Licences
• Gambling Act Licences (including Society Lotteries)
• Street Collection & House to House Permits

All applications from this date will be dealt with by the RHYL Licensing Office, contact details above.
