Councillor Hugh Evans, Leader of the Council received 18 applications to join the Cabinet, from all political groups, and following detailed discussion of the appointments and portfolios with Group Leaders, the Chief Executive and Corporate Directors and the applicants themselves, has announced the appointments which match strengths and experience among Councillors with the portfolios that are available. They will allow us to move Denbighshire forward and deal with the main issues that need to be addressed over the coming period.
This Cabinet includes the highest number of women Councillors - 4 out of 9 posts - in Denbighshire's history.
