Developing a new street or estate – How are properties numbered?
If you are developing a new street or estate, you should contact us as soon as you commence work on site so that we can process the names of new streets and number the properties without delay. You will need to provide us with the following information:
(i) a location plan
(ii) a site layout plan showing the plot numbers
(iii) at least one suggested street name either in Welsh or bilingual.
Developing a single property / small infill development - How are properties numbered?
If you are a developer of a new property (single dwelling or small development), you should complete the Naming of Small Developments form as soon as possible. Once the proposed address has been agreed, the information is sent to emergency services, Land Registry, Royal Mail and relevant services within Denbighshire. You will also be sent a copy of the registered address from which we would ask you to inform your prospective purchases of their new address.
