Denbighshire's Improvement Plan
Guided by the Vision for Denbighshire in 2025, Denbighshire County Council aims to deliver continuously improving services which meet the needs of local people.
Our Improvement Plan 2007 - 10 outlines how we performed last year, the actions we will be taking over the next three years and the targets we have set for improving services and delivering the Vision.
We have now published our Improvement Plan for 2007-10. The Improvement Plan is a lengthy document. To help you find specific information the Plan has been organised into sections. Please click on the documents on the right hand side of this page to read each section.
We have also produced an easy to read Summary of the Improvement Plan which was published in June’s County Voice.
We welcome your feedback on the Improvement Plan. If you have any comments or would like to request the Improvement Plan in an alternative format such as Braille, large type and on audio tape please contact the Strategic Policy Unit.
Denbighshire's Priorities
Denbighshire's Councillors chose three priorities in 2004 for their term in office. These were:
Improving school buildings
Improving roads
Improving the cleanliness and appearance of our public spaces
In October 2007 Councillors agreed to amend the priority of Improving School Buildings to 'Schools and Educational Improvement' to better reflect the need to improve standards of education in the County.
