Denbighshire Youth Service runs Youth Centres, Detached and Outreach projects, the Duke of Edinburgh Award and other accreditation programmes and Open Access holiday Playschemes in communities throughout the County and throughout the year.

The Service is also concerned with young people's personal and social development, their education, their health, their empowerment and their access to information and resources that will enable them to move from dependence to independence.

The Sevice works in accordance with the curriculum strategy for Wales, the Extending Entitlement agenda and the ESTYN quality assurance framework in order to provide the most comprehensive and effective service possible to meet the needs of Denbighshire's Young People.
