Christmas is coming early to the Vale of Clwyd, with festive lantern making sessions arranged by Denbighshire County Council.

The lanterns will be displayed at a special lantern parade taking place in Ruthin on Friday, December 7 between 4.30pm and 6pm.

The creative sessions will take place at:

St John Ambulance Hall, Ruthin - Friday, November 9 between 7pm and 9pm (event suitable for young people between 11 and 18 years)

Awelon Centre, Ruthin - Tuesday, November 13, 9.30am-12.30pm - Join Ruthin Art Group- all welcome

Awelon Centre, Ruthin - Tuesday, November 13 between 1.30pm and 3pm.  Appropriate  for parents/carers and toddlers/young children.

Awelon Centre, Ruthin - Tuesday, November 13, 3pm-6pm. Open to everyone of all ages - everyone welcome.

Coleg Llysfasi- Thursday, November 15, 7pm-9pm.  Join Clwb Llanllawen - everyone welcome.

These events with support from the Arts Council of Wales, Cadwyn Clwyd and the European Union Leader+ programme.
