No, an enforcement notice once served remains on the land unless it is quashed by a Planning Appeal Inspector or planning permission is granted for whatever the enforcement notice relates.

When can I come in to perform a Personal Search?
Personal Searches are limited to 4 per Agent. Please ring the Local Land Charges department to make an appointment.

What is the difference between a Local Authority Search and a Personal Search?
A Personal Search consists of a search of the Local Land Charges Register only. Replies to the CON 29 Enquiries are not provided by this Authority as part of the Personal Search process. A Personal Search Agent will usually research the information required on the CON 29 by visiting some departments personally and attaching the information to the LLC1 certificate (search of Local Land Charges Register). This could be misleading and may give the impression that a full search has been provided.

Local Authority Land Charges Officers are fully trained and competent to carry out searches accurately with detailed replies, and will respond to enquiries courteously and provide helpful advice.
