New ceramics featuring the human figure, developing ideas based around the narrative and ‘telling a story’. Katie’s recent work has often featured her matriarchal grandmother and the importance of domestic routines and position within the family, during Katie’s childhood. The work for this exhibition will reference Welsh stories and rural life, hopefully evoking a sense of familiarity to the viewer.
