A new floral display has been designed and is now in place at the top of the High Street in Prestatyn.
The display depicts King Offa on a penny coin and has been planted out by members of the Prestatyn Public Realm.
It took four men just three hours to complete the planting of this bed which is at a prominent location in the town.
Alan Jackson, Team Leader of the Prestatyn Public Realm Team, who came up with the idea for the display, said “I know that the Offa’s Dyke walk is popular with tourists visiting the town. This was an opportunity for Public Realm to promote the Offa history and walk at a key location within the town. I've had really positive feedback from locals and I'm sure it will make visitors stop and look.... and who knows ask for more information from the Tourist Information Centre about Offa and the town, which can only be good news!”
