Lawson Construction, based in Henllan, was named winner of the Small, Medium Enterprise category for the acclaimed Constructing Excellence in Wales award at a prestigious event in Newport recently.
The firm, which is run by Frank Lawson and wife Angeline, will now go through to the  national Constructing Excellence Awards to be held in London in November.
David Thomas, Cabinet lead member for Regeneration, praised the firm for its success, adding: “I would like to congratulate Lawson Construction for winning this important accolade and we wish them all the best in the next round of the competition.”
