08/07/2008 - Update on Pendyffryn Surgery, Prestatyn

Alternative arrangements are being made for patients at the Pendyffryn Medical Group Surgery, Prestatyn, after a patient crashed into the wall of the building this morning, (Thursday)

Fortunately, the driver was unhurt in the incident and police and fire crews were called to the scene immediately.

Further investigations are being undertaken to determine the level of damage to the surgery building.

It is hoped that the surgery will be open for use again within a couple of days.  In the meantime patients should continue to use the normal contact telephone numbers for the surgery for advice, information and appointments.

Patients will be advised by the surgery where to attend for appointments, which are being provided at branch surgeries, and neighbouring practices.

Further updates will be provided to inform patients of developments.
