08/19/2008 - Have your say

Young people from the opposite ends of Denbighshire came together for Denbighshire Youth Service’s first Advisory Group Panel at Prestatyn Youth Centre on Tuesday, August 12.
At the event young people explored the layout of the county, found out facts about Denbighshire Youth Service and started to prioritise what was important to them about attending Youth Service provision and learning about managing the Youth Service.
The main message these young people wanted to send to Denbighshire County Council was that they wanted to meet with councillors.  This would enable them to explain why they wanted more Youth Service provision – mainly so that they could get more opportunities to learn and to get this work accredited so that they could make a difference to the county and their own lives.
Young people who attend Denbighshire Youth Service’s provision are invited to attend the four Advisory Group Panels throughout the year to help the Youth Service involve young people in having a voice on issues that affect them.
For more details on this young people can ask their youth workers throughout the county.
