Denbighshire County Council is looking for 500 residents willing to join a Citizens' Panel to help shape the future direction of Council services.

Those interested in joining Denbighshire's Citizens' Panel will be sent surveys to complete and we will ask for volunteers from the Panel to take part in meetings and focus groups on topics of particular interest.  We will be asking the Panel's opinion on a range of various topics, such as the services the Council provides and what you think the Council should be doing in the future.  When we are developing Denbighshire's new Community Strategy we may also be asking the Panel's opinion on other public services.

A regular newsletter will be published to feedback results and to inform members of how the Council intends to respond.

Councillor Sharon Frobisher, Cabinet Lead Member for Communities, said: “The Council really values the views of its residents and has decided to re-launch its Citizens' Panel, with a view to encouraging more people to have their say on Council services. We are looking for people from all walks of life and from every community in the County. This is a good opportunity for people to work with us to help shape the future of Council services.  Their views really will make a difference.”

We positively encourage applications from disabled people and black and minority ethnic backgrounds. Please note that you have to be aged 16 or older to be on the Denbighshire Citizens panel.

Panel members will be able to reclaim travelling expenses. Please note 500 panel members will be chosen from all applications to reflect the Denbighshire population
