FIS training: Level 2 Nutritional Awareness (online course)

The Level 2 Nutritional Awareness course is an online video-based course that follows the Approved UK Nutritional Awareness (Healthier eating and special diets) syllabus, is filmed on-location in childcare and commercial kitchen settings.

Fully accredited by QUALIFI, an OFQUAL regulated UK Awarding Organisation, this course provides in depth awareness of what represents a nutritionally appropriate balanced diet for babies and young children (0-5yrs).

This course is written by a PhD Nutritional Specialist advisor and author. The course includes free unlimited online exam entry, leading to a nationally recognised qualification (Endorsed Award) from OFQUAL regulated Awarding Organisation (certificate available as PDF download), and staff progress tracking system with every multiple purchase. 

When and where do courses take place?

This course takes place online and should be completed within 30 days of registering the code you receive after registering for the course.

Who can attend?

This course is for all registered childcare providers in Denbighshire who are registered, or are registering, with the Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) (external website).

The setting must also be registered with Dewis.Wales (external website)

How to get involved

There is a charge of £15 per person to attend this course and each person who wants to attend will need to complete the online booking request form.

After receiving a booking request, we will send an invoice to the childcare provider which must be paid promptly.
