If you carry out acupuncture, electrolysis, tattoos or piercings you must register your business with the Council.
This regulation exists to make sure you meet the relevant health and safety standards, and to reduce the risk of infection.
How do I register?
To register your business, you can either email us or give us a call on 01824 706305.
You only need to register your business once, and there is no need to renew your registration unless your details change.
If you are already registered and your circumstances change, let us know.
How much does it cost?
It costs:
- £124 to register your premises
- £62 per practitioner
You must inform us if there are any changes after the initial registration.
You can pay over the phone using a debit or credit card, or you can send us a cheque made payable to Denbighshire County Council. We will talk to you about ways you can pay when you register.
