Families First: Themed Surgeries
Themed Surgeries give you the chance to speak each week with a professional who specialises in a specific topic. Every four weeks, there’s also a self-care session to highlight the importance of parents and carers looking after their own wellbeing.

Who are sessions for?
Themed surgeries are for parents and carers of children and young people who:
- are aged 5 to 18 years old
- have an additional learning need (diagnosed or undiagnosed)
- are receiving services through the Families First programme
When and where do sessions take place?
Sessions take place from 10am to 11am at the Westbourne Centre in Rhyl on:
- Monday 12 May 2025 with Women’s Centre in attendance
- Monday 9 June 2025 with SNAP Cymru in attendance
- Monday 7 July 2025 with CAD in attendance
- Monday 4 August 2025 with STAND NW in attendance

Facilities for disabled people
There is are disabled toilet facilities and the room where the course is held is located on ground floor.
