Puberty, Periods and Period Dignity for Denbighshire Dads provides a free webinar and Question and Answer (Q and A) session designed to help dads, stepdads, grandads and male carers in Denbighshire feel more confident supporting young people through puberty and periods.
This session will be delivered by Brook, the UK's leading charity supporting young people's sexual health and wellbeing.
The Q and A session offers a relaxed space for dads and male carers to:
- Recap on the key points from the webinar
- Ask anything — no question is too big or small
- Get practical tips and honest advice
- Share experiences with other dads
- Build confidence in supporting the young people in your life

Why it matters
Puberty and periods can feel awkward to talk about, but your support makes a huge difference. This isn’t about knowing all the answers. It’s about being present, informed, and open.
Let’s help young people feel confident, respected, and never ashamed of their bodies.
Who can attend this event?
This event is open to fathers, stepdads, uncles, grandads, and male carers of children or young people aged 9 and over in Denbighshire.
Whether you feel confident or completely unsure, this event is for you.
When and where does this event take place?
You can watch the free webinar anytime, and the Q and A session will take place online through Zoom, from 6:30pm to 7:30pm on Monday 2 June 2025.
