Free School Meals

If you receive certain benefits you can apply for free school meals for your child.

Citizens Advice Denbighshire provide free, confidential and impartial advice and campaign on big issues affecting people's lives.

Discretionary Housing Payments

Discretionary Housing Payments can help people receiving Housing Benefit/Universal Credit with ongoing rent costs, deposits and/or removals.

School Essentials Grant

Some parents are entitled to a grant towards the cost of school uniforms and equipment.

Universal Primary Free School Meals

To help with the rising costs-of-living, we are working with Welsh Government so that every primary school pupil will be offered free school meals by 2024.

Education Maintenance Allowance (external website)

You may be eligible to receive a £30 weekly EMA award depending on your age, if you live in Wales and are studying an eligible full-time academic or vocational course.
