Charges for library services
We charge for some of the services available at your library and in some cases where items are lost or damaged.
Fines
There are no late charges, but the relevant replacement fee will be charged to the library account when items are 12 weeks overdue (see below). When the items are returned the charge will be cleared.
Replacement of lost or damaged items
The full replacement cost of the item, as shown on the library catalogue, would be due.
There is no charge for lost / damaged books if borrowed on the card of a child aged 0 to 18.
If you use your Denbighshire library card to borrow in another county, that county’s fees and charges may be added to your account.
