Denbighshire County Council has made an Order prohibiting pedestrians, from using the rights of way stated in the Schedule below.
The closed sections and alternative routes provided on the ground will be signed and shown on a plan accompanying this notice on site:
Plan: Temporary Prohibition of Pedestrians Order, Footpaths 42 and 45 (Prestatyn) Sandy Lane and Beverley Drive (PDF, 5MB)
The reason for the closure is to facilitate changes to the railway timetable along with railway bridge construction works for Network Rail (external website).
The Order comes into force on 1 March 2026 for a six-month period, although it is anticipated the works will take longer and require extensions to the Order.
