Prestatyn High Street: Public Realm Improvements Project

We are looking at options to improve the public realm (visible areas) in Prestatyn High Street. Tell us what you'd like to see in the central area of the High Street.

The project has been funded by the UK Government under round 3 of Levelling Up funding. The project will form part of Denbighshire's Pride of Place and Natural Environment.

What are we doing?

As part of the UK Government's Pride of Place and Natural Environment project, Denbighshire County Council has been awarded funding to carry out a number of projects that will help to improve the look and feel of some key areas of Denbighshire.

One of these areas is the public realm (visible space) in Prestatyn High Street.

Why are we doing this?

Prestatyn is Denbighshire's second-largest town. With a long sandy beach and good access to major transport routes, it is also a very popular tourist destination.

This project has been funded by the UK Government under round 3 of Levelling Up funding. The project will form part of Denbighshire's Pride of Place and Natural Environment.

What do we want to know?

We would like to know what you would like to see in the central area of Prestatyn High Street as part of this project.

What difference will it make?

We hope that by understanding what is important to people who live in, work in or visit Prestatyn regularly that we will be able to design a modest improvement scheme which will help to make the High Street more appealing and encourage people to spend more time there.

How can you get involved?
