Denbighshire County Council is pleased to have secured £10.95m from Round 2 of the UK Government’s Local Regeneration Fund to support the development of 10 projects which are intended to protect Ruthin’s unique heritage, support rural communities and well-being.
This funding scheme was open to local authorities to submit bids around the themes of addressing regeneration, heritage or transport.
The proposals included for the Clwyd West constituency were supported by the former constituency MP David Jones and local elected members.
Denbighshire County Council is responsible for delivering 8 of the projects. Dyffryn Clwyd Mission will deliver the St Peter’s Church and Cloister’s project and Bryneglwys Cymdeithas Canolfan Ial Association will deliver the Bryneglwys School - Community Hub project.
