Notice is hereby given by Denbighshire County Council pursuant to Section 35C and Section 46A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and Regulation 25 of the Local Authority Traffic Orders (Procedure) (England and Wales) Regulations 1996 and all other enabling powers that as from and including 6 July 2026 the scale of initial charges at its Pay and Display Car Parks at Rhyl and Prestatyn in the County of Denbigh and On-Street parking on Rhyl Promenade as specified below will be amended. The charges currently in force are set out in Schedule 1 to this Notice and the new charges to be imposed are set out in Schedule 2 to this Notice.

The above Pay and Display Car Parks are off street parking places for the purposes of Section 35 of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 for which a charge is payable by the public and were provided by the Denbighshire County Council (Off Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2021.
The On-Street Parking Places affected are on Rhyl Promenade (West Parade, East Parade and Marine Drive) and are on-street parking places for the purposes of Section 46 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 for which a charge is payable by the public and were provided by the Denbighshire County Council (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Loading and Parking Places) (Consolidation) Order 2021.
