Mental Health Champions

The council has trained a number of Mental Health Champions.

Mental Health Champions have volunteered to take action to support colleagues and raise awareness that mental health is as important as physical health.

Responsibilities:

Initiating or responding to conversations as a positive first step for example by asking someone how they are.
Acknowledging we can all feel anxious, stressed or low and need help at different times.
Signposting to support which is available.
Promoting and raising awareness of mental health e.g. by displaying posters in your workplace.
